Graduated in Psychology in 2006 from the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga in Coimbra and a full member of the Portuguese Psychologists' Association since 2010.

Holds a PhD in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra, in collaboration with the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon, through the Interuniversity Doctoral Program in Psychology, specializing in Educational Psychology, completed in 2024.

Between 2007 and 2015, worked as an invited assistant professor at the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga in Coimbra, teaching subjects such as Educational Psychology, Learning and Memory, Health Psychology, Sexuality Psychology, Forensic Psychology, and Communication and Mass Media Psychology.

Since 2016, has been exclusively dedicated to research, with a particular interest in health and health education, focusing on sexuality, gender, and the Sexual Double Standard.

Researcher and behavioural scientist by training and passion. I believe that science and technology can empower and hope to contribute to this potential.

I completed my Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Connecticut and my Masters at New York University. During this time I co-authored 6 academic journal papers, and 2 book chapters, delivered talks at international conferences and workshops, and taught undergraduate and graduate students programming, statistical analysis, and social psychology.

Currently I am discovering the field of UX/UI design and research and exploring its potential to inspire social change.
