Between March 22-25, several online and print media and broadcast news delivered the conclusions of a PANO's research study. The study lead by Inês Santos, Ana Andrade and Pedro Teixeira, published in the journal Acta Médica Portuguesa concluded that more than half of Portuguese women and about one-third of men are actively trying to control their weight, using behavioral strategies which are generally consistent with public health recommendations.
